More Rock – More Variety – Less Ads

The concept behind Detroit Rock Radio is simple. We play all the best new and classic rock all day and night, both old and new. Our rotation of music has a lot of songs that you know from your favorite artists along with some you don’t hear very often on other stations. We also mix in a good bit of new rock to keep it interesting.

Variety is the spice of life, and we’re pretty spicy. We keep adding more variety all the time.

Oh yeah, and about those ads… You might hear one 30 second ad when you tune in for the first time… this is known as a pre-roll. We only play one 30 second ad every 30 minutes while you’re listening. If you’re not paying attention, you might miss it. Gotta keep the lights on somehow, but we are trying to keep it to a minimum. We want the listening experience to be what this station is all about. If that’s what you’re looking for, then you just found your new favorite station.
